I am a psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in the field of mental health and substance use treatment. My style is collaborative, warm and relational. I love what I do because I know that behind personal challenges lie unique strengths and capacities, with psychotherapy being a process in which challenges can be transformed. My aim is to work together to facilitate this process, and my approach is both empathic and solution-focused. I have a special interest in treating mood difficulties and addictive behaviors and have expertise in the integrated treatment of these challenges. Whatever your reason for pursuing psychotherapy, it should always be individualized and centered around helping you identify and achieve your goals.

Professionally, I am a licensed social worker. I received my MSW from Rutgers University in 2012 and am currently pursuing a PhD at New York University, also in Social Work. I am inspired by harm reduction approaches to mental health and substance use, social justice, and my own mindfulness and spiritual practices. I am proud to work in ways that merge holistic approaches to wellness with treatment that is professional and evidence based.
