Pandemic-Related Grief and Loss Group, In-person with Monica Rose Smith, LMSW

Pandemic-related Grief and Loss with Monica Rose Smith, LMSW

● Is it challenging to stay grounded and centered these days?

● Are you feeling more overwhelmed or anxious than pre-pandemic?

● Have you experienced loss because of or exacerbated by the pandemic?

You are not meant to face your pain alone.

Whether you are mourning the death of a loved one or coping with grief from the loss of a job, relationship, social network, way of life, or any number of other ways the pandemic has created ambiguous loss in your life, each of us deserves the space and support to sort through these challenges, as well as tools to help us cope.

Healing happens collectively.

Join me for this 5-week psychotherapy group in which we will explore the myriad ways our lives have changed in the past couple of years. By sharing our struggles and losses in community, we find support from others who are going through a similar experience.

Sessions

Each session will include a short period of meditation, individual responses to prompts, and a group discussion. There will also be opportunities for artistic expression and release (in your chosen form), somatic practices, and ways to metabolize trauma. Weekly readings will be offered to support you in between sessions.
